Details:
Occurred at 1:10AM, 9 Aug. Of the more than 1000, 10 sec images taken, this Perseid was the brightest (est mag. -6). A smoke train resulted and lasted for more than 600 seconds. The other Perseids are less bright than the fireball but no less colorful. A lot of green airglow this night that may have been enhanced by intense nearby thunderstorms earlier.
