Here's a 360° panorama of the sky over the Saskatchewan Summer Star Party from Thursday, Aug 4, under very clear skies with the Northern Lights kicking up in activity for a while about midnight. The star party is held in the Dark Sky Preserve of the Cypress Hills Inter-Provincial Park in southwest Saskatchewan, one of the darkest places in southern Canada. About 320 people and telescopes attended. The panorama extends 360° and from the ground to the zenith overhead. It is a stitch of 21 panels, each a 30-second exposure at f/2.8 and ISO 6400 with a 20mm lens.
