The cross quarter between summer solstice and autumnal equinox is a pagan celebration with many names, Lughnasadh, Lammas, Imbolc... in Buffalo in 2016 we call it hot.

Great shot! In TN, we call it a Dog Day. Unfortunately theres no reason to celebrate in 2016 since its only one in a long series of Dog Days :p
