Details:
The weather forecast was for snow, but the rain was just clearing before the next front. But the Bz was 12 south and the KP was heading from 3 to 5 so I thought I would try my luck. At first there was only a thin band visible between clouds but it was bright green, I returned 30 minutes later and the sky had cleared and though it wasn't as bright to the naked eye there was still visible aurora to 30 degrees above the horizon. Canon EOS 700 D, 10 seconds ISO 1600
