Details:
We observed red glow above the approaching thunderstorm yesterday in the evening, in Voronino village near Sergiev Posad, Russia. Every time it lasted about 3 sec, about 3 sec before ordinary lighting, when the storm was far away. It looked and sounded almost like somebody was firing fireworks or rockets just before some of the lighting strikes. Very spectacular. It stopped when the storm got closer.
