Details:
Usually on a day as overcast as today, I would not bother taking a photo but it has been several days since I last took one and the surface, with the long filament, was not without interest.

Solarmax 60II f/6.6, Canon XTi ISO 800, surface 1/800 sec. prominences 1/250 sec. East and West are reversed.

The surface and prominence shots are 5 layer stacks. Treated with Lynkeos' Lucy-Richardson algorithm and Photoshop for stacking, montage and colour.

How do you focus the Canon XTi? It has no live view and I have great difficulty getting perfect focus. Thanks
