Details:
This image was made in early morning twilight from Leiden, the Netherlands, at 1:31:42 UT (3:31:42 local time) on July 20, 2016. It shows the International Space Station, being chased by the SpaceX Dragon CRS-9 cargoship (it will dock to the ISS later today). The Dragon was about 25 seconds, or just under 15 degrees, behind the ISS. Both objects were very easy to see, the Dragon starting at mag +2 and attaining a maximum brightness of mag 0. It was a majestic sight to see the pair sail across the sky. Image is a 5 second exposure with a Canon EOS 60D and EF 2.0/35 mm lens, 800 ISO.
