What do The Aurora Chasers do when the frozen sub-arctic climates of the North thaw out and the night gets chased out by the Midnight Sun? Well visit tropical locales with flowing Lava and shoot Milky Way of course! This first image is one of those rare gems when you plan and plan, the conditions finally line up just right and you get to put on the sensor, an image you've had stuck in your head for a long time. We planned months ago to visit Hawaii in July to photograph the magnificent views of Milky Way the Islands offer in the summer months and we just so happened to get lucky enough to catch the dream scenario with amazing Lava Flows in the foreground and the rare clear sky at Volcano National Park on the Big Island.
