Details:
Between 12:19AM and 3:54AM, I recorded 16 weak sprites out of 1,000 exposures from a storm system about 40 miles south of Grand Island, NE (~360 miles East of Chreyenne, WY). Radar depiction shows activity in Nebraska during time of these sprites. This weak sprite (center lower left frame), can be seen above a lightning discharge just above the house. Usually my neighbor's lights are on but I took advanage of situation with a darker horizon. I used a 35mm f/1.4 lens @ f/2.0, iso = 800, exposure 10 secs with a 3 secs delay between frames.
