Details:
A small solar flare occurring among lots of filaments. The solar filaments are actually prominences and will have the more recognizable appearance when they rotate to the solar limb. The image was captured with my Astro-Physics 152mm F8 refractor fitted with a Daystar Quantum PE .5 angstrom filter and ZWO 174MM CMOS video camera.
