Details:
Today, I have spotted a rainbow cloud around 13.30 on my return to Prague (Czech Republic, Europe). The picture was taken by an ordinary digital camera through the window of a fast moving bus, hence its poor quality. Due to these adverse circumstances, the snapshot grasps only in part the cloud's breathtaking beauty. It remained clearly visible for quite some time, at one moment its radiating colours could be seen even THROUGH a white thin cloud passing underneath it! The colours were vivid, going from red on top of the cloud, through the entire spectrum to a barely visible violet shade closest to the earth. Amazingly beautiful. I am no expert, just a fan of your website, but I wonder if this phenomenon, I have never witnessed before, is frequent in our latitude. Best regards, Helena
