Details:
I was setting up to take pictures of a laser show set to music, which was some 1300 feet away, when I noticed this close association of the Moon and Jupiter. This image shows the celestial pair with a tree lit up by the lasers. Pentax digital equipment, 29 mm, f 5.6, 5 sec, ISO 1600, 10:31 PM CDT
