Close encounter of comet C/2013 X1 (PanSTARRS) and Helix Nebula, the very faint ion tail hitting the "Eye of God". Parallel exposure with to imaging setups on one mount (ASA DMM85). All used images taken during this encounter (some comet imagers use star field material from other nights ... which I personally don't like) (1) 45x120sec, Sony A7s (CentralDS modded and cooled), ISO 3200, IDAS-V4 filter, Hyperstar 14"/F1.9 (2) 28x180sec, Sony A7s (JTW modded), ISO 3200, Lumicon Comet filter, RASA 11"/F2.2 Tenerife 1120 m altitude, 2016-06-04 4:30h - 6:00h UT Higher resolution image: https://www.flickr.com/photos/fhhemmerich/27360094952/in/dateposted-public/lightbox/
