Details:
At latitude 53N at this time of year, the night sky is in permanent twilight, and these constellations only just scrape over the southern horizon.
So I've never attempted such a shot before - and frankly did not think it would succeed as well as this.
But generous exposure, accurate tracking, and a site free from light pollution (Mace Head) help a lot.
