Last night sporadic E reflections and PMSE signals on my instruments.In the evening hours VHF spor.E refl.and at the same time a lot of traffic between radio amateurs in Europe.Also many heavy thunderstorms at this time to the east in Europe. Around midnight local summer time,less thunderstorm activity and almost no contacts between radio amateurs,strong Polar Mesospheric Summer Echoes on my receiver.audio signals from an analog tv transmitter in Eastern Europe.I'am waiting for AIM satellite data about possible NLC's,in study about the relation PMSE and NLC's.

Hello, Thank you for showing the results of 56 MHz reflections that you obtained in May of 2016. I hope to find out more about your observations. Are your observations radar observations? Would you characterize them as monostatic or bistatic (transmitter and receiver essentially at the same location or at different locations)? Are you able to characterize the reflections as Sporadic E or PMSE on the basis of reflection height? Or do you have another method of distinguishing between them.

I would be very interested to read more of your results.
