A comparison of planet sizes as Mars approaches opposition on May 22nd. Seeing conditions are generally not very good in the pacific northwest except on a few occasions. These images were taken with an Explore Scientific ED127 and a ZWO ASI178MC camera with a TeleVue 2.5X Powermate. Processed using AutoStakkert, ImagesPlus and Adobe Lightroom.
