Details:
Although Mars and Saturn are not well positioned for us at northern latitudes, I did not want to miss this years opposition of Mars. I used an ADC (Athmospheric Dispersion Corrector) on a Celestron C9.25 wich proved very usefull on the planets at such a low altitude and Mars even shows some orographic clouds to the left and above Syrtis Major in this picture (south is upp). Also Saturn turned out better than expected with most of the Cassini division visible. Jupiter offers, as always, a magnifiscent view of its cloudbelts. /*Peter R
