Details:
Surprisingly interesting to image and observe - the small disk of Mercury was highly contrasted against the bright solar photosphere. Thankfully the clouds stayed away until after fourth contact! Taken with a Nikon D5500 and a Celestron C6-R achromatic refractor (with a Lumicon 2" #58 filter), shutter speed 1/30th, and ISO 100. Processed in RawTherapee.
