It was well worth the wait - but after nearly 10 years I was able to again view Mercury ingress the solar disk. Unfortunately the clouds thickened at my location and ended my view after about 3 hours. Always a treat to see an event as rare as this. Canon 6D with Celestron CPC 1100 telescope @ f/6.3, ISO 400 and 1/80 sec exposure.
