Playing a very annoying game with the clouds today...We had clear skies for only about a quarter of the imaging session, and seeing was far from good. Despite this I was able to capture a few good resolution views. The following are acquired with a 4.5 inch APO Refractor and ASI 174MM camera using a Red filter in front of the camera and a Baader full aperture in front of the objective. Note the three sunspot groups. A lot of activity in the Sun today, and a lovely fourth "spot" also!

Nice clarity, the sunspot group 2542 made the transit even more special. This transit was more spectacular in visible light then in H-alpha (saw them through both types of scopes) and your photo clearly shows that. Great job...
