During the University of Calgary's Rothney Astrophysical Observatory "Open House Night" on May 7-8, 2016, the public and the gathered astronomers were treated to an awesome aurora display that lasted hours and covered more than half the sky. My time lapse video of the 5 1/2 hour display is now on our YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/RASCCalgary/videos
