Experimenting with alternate ways to view the Mercury transit. This image is the Sun today in deep IR (830 nm) as a HDR stack of 7 0.3 stop varying images. The photos were acquired with a Questar Q3.5 telescope and a Nikon D700 modified for IR by Lifepixel.
