Details:
This is an animation of Jupiter and its Galilean moons captured on 12th Feb 2015 under variable seeing. Io and its shadow transited the Jupiter’s disk after which Io raced towards Europa for its occultation and eclipse. Europa, on the other hand, was on its way behind the Jupiter. This whole dance lasted for around 2 hours.
