Details:
With a weight of almost 700 000 tons and a total height of 472 m (303 m below sea level), the Troll A platform is the tallest and heaviest structure ever moved by mankind. On April 12th this platform was seen from a 477 m.a.s.l. mountain in Bergen in Norway at a distance of 95 km. At the same time the big sunspot AR2529 was easily seen on the Suns disk.
