Details:
I went out trying (again) to resolve Mercury's sickle with my Nikon P600. No luck thus far. Then I moved to the conjunction of Moon and Jupiter and, checking shallowsky.com, soon realized that I had a great opportunity to document the relative motion of two Galilean moons. Six minute increments provided reasonable detail of Io and Ganymede passing each other (see GIF, pics separated by 12 min). It was fortunate that haze didn't significantly degrade sharpness. Callisto is visible to the left of Jupiter and Europa is hidden behind. The star seen in the lower-left is Chi Leonis (χ Leo). f6.3, 1/4sec, ISO-400, 236/1320mm - one step back from full zoom
