Details:
Latest giant sunspot larger than our Earth. I took a chance and barlowed a 2x + a 1.9x to capture this image using my ZWO120m/SolarMax II 60 setup. This is from 20% of the best of 1000 frames processed using Autostakkert, Registax, and Photoshop. To be quite honest, I was a bit surprised with the result. Many thanks to George Ionis, one of New Zealand’s premier solar imagers, for his guidance and suggestions.
