Details:
As Sunspot 2529 continues in its march across the solar disc, I managed to grab another recording sequence early in the morning (8:30am) as soon as the solar disc cleared the trees and before the seeing conditions deteriorated. The atmosphere was less stable than yesterday, but the ZWO ASI174MM CMOS camera and the pc applications FireCapture (camera control), Autostakkert2! (aligning & stacking) and Registax6 (Wavelets) once more came to the rescue and turned a sows ear into a silk purse. Hardware: Tak Mewlon 180, Tak 1x6 Extender, ASI174MM CMOS Camera, Baader Astro solar film (photo version). Software: FireCapture camera control application, Autostakkert2! aligning & stacking application and Registax6 for its Wavelets. Cheers Dennis
