Details:
I set my alarm for 4:00am to get up and see if I could capture Comet 252/p Linear in an image. The forecast was for bitter cold due to an Arctic Vortex settling over the North East! Temperatures were -10c but with the windchill it flt like -15c (this is spring?!) There was some haze over Lake Ontario, and the light pollution from Rochester on the south side of the lake is quite bright. I used a tracking mount on a one minute exposure to keep the stars sharp. As soon as I looked at the image the green comet was visible! I made a second copy with labels. Mars and Saturn are the other two interlopers in the Galactic field of view.
