Details:
It seems like this Aurora season goes out with a big bang. Last night I headed out to Andøya island, on the northwest coast of Norway. This is my most preferred place for Aurora-shooting. There are hardly any light pollution, and gives great view in almost every direction. I knew there was great activity, as I monitored the activity during the day. And right. As soon as it got dark enough, the northern lights started dancing. Nothing beats the colors of the auroras, when you also get the rest of the sunset. At this time of year, we even saw some increased light over the horizon at midnight. More photos here: http://frank-olsen.pixels.com/ -)_(- vesteraling@gmail.com
