Details:
These photos, taken with a Sony DSC-HX300 camera with a glass solar filter on its front lens, show an almost-blank sun with only one major sunspot visible. Named AR2526, the lonely sunspot, captured at 18:43 UT, is quietly heading for the limb, so that in a few days the solar disk may be entirely blank.
