Details:
At 10 AM CDT on Monday, March 28, 2016, our astronomy class was delighted to spot a very straight, linear prominence erupting off the sun's western limb. The large sunspot is AR 2526, and some images also show a huge filament as well on the disk. First photo by Jennifer Lucas, Second by Robert Gonzalez, third by Lance Dillard, and last by Mark O'Brien. All taken with Coronado 60 with iOptron smartphone adapter.
