Details:
Despite the Crashing Solar Cycle Activity..the Aurora still raged north of Fairbanks AK. I lead my Aurora Photo tour/workshop far north of the city of Fairbanks to get above the storm brewing in the gulf of Alaska, and despite the cloudy & ICY fog conditions, that would have sent home even the most seasoned observers, we waited hoping for something, then about 2:15am the sky cleared off, and the Aurora Erupted rewarding us with a spectacular display for 2+ hours! Incredible Green and Reds last night!
