Details:
With a mostly clear sky and a bright three quarter moon illuminating the startling jagged peaks of the Lofoten archipeligo in N. Norway, the aurora had to work fairly hard to compete for attention, but each time the auroral arc surged to the south it broke up into some lovely green streamers and curtains. The movement of the ferry meant that crisp detail of the land and stars was impossible to achieve, but overall, it didn't seem to matter!
