Details:
It was calm at ground level here in Upstate NY last evening. But the upper atmosphere had other plans and the video image of Jupiter looked like the Stars and Stripes flapping around on a windy day. The image here is a composite of a 2000 frame video of Jupiter (best 10%) and a 1000 frame video of the moons, both processed with Registax 6. Also shown is the graphic from Javascript Jupiter which does a nice job of letting you know what moons your looking at and of predicting transits and shadows they may produce, ... in the unlikely event of a break in the New York clouds. :) 120mm Skywatcher + 2x Powermate + 2x barlow + ZWO ASI120MC
