Details:
I had an idea to shoot an eclipse photo in Ternate and add some local flavor to the photo. With local contacts I was able to find a coconut palm standing alone and two brave men climbing to tree for the photo. Though I've heard every Ternate man has the skills, nevertheless I can only admire their effort. During the totality, upper clouds spoiled the best sky colors - otherwise a fantastic experience. I had a great team of local people in Ternate, Indonesia, and I want to thank them all.
