Details:
What for a crazy night over Europe! A great outbreak of Aurora borealis to Central Europe! Everything was perfect: the direction of the interplanetary magnetic field to south (to Europe) and extremely clear to north without moon! I stood on a mountain! In these times with a very inactive sun absolutely remarkable! In one image, the Andromeda nebula shines through the aurora! There will be a short night! I am also radio amateur, but I could not work on VHF (144 MHz) via Aurora… The Observing today had priority :-) My heart is racing…! Details: Canon EOS 500D, 800 ISO, 50 mm, between 20 and 40s exposure.
