Details:
Comet C/2013 US10 (Catalina) imaged on January 17th 2016, in conjunction with the Pinwheel Galaxy (M 101) at left, and the popular pair of stars Mizar and Alcor surrounded by a bright halo induced by the refractor telescope optics. The comet stands out in center with its greenish coma from which departs a bright dust tail arched toward down, and a long ionic tail more faint toward right, going above the couple of stars.
