Details:
The full moon rises tonight just after local sunset. Just prior to sunset last night, a 99.4% moon rose beyond Baboquivari Peak in southern Arizona, photographed here at a 2-minute interval. Lots of rocks and cacti, but no snow.

Nikon D750, 500mm lens, 1/1000 sec @ f8, ISO 400.
