Another great night in Abisko! Several weeks ago I lost something very special to me - my aurora hat. I purchased the custom made hat many years ago before my first ever Lights Over Lapland aurora tour and it had been a faithful companion keeping me warm during nearly every aurora display I had ever seen. After several weeks of patiently waiting for a new hat to be sewn by a local Sami woman, the second version of my old friend was delivered earlier today. Based on the amazing display I witnessed tonight it looks like my new aurora hat will bring me lots of luck with the northern lights in the future ;)
