With solar activity at this level, one shouldn't expect a Kp 6 boost as it appeared last night. So to my surprise, the whole sky exploded in an amazing show. Not only did it last for hours, it was great colors and movement. as well. When the northern lights is filling almost the entire sky, I prefer to tilt up the camera for vertical photos, and panoramic pictures. In this case, it was 5 photos stitched together. The stars and the Milky Way are enhanced. And I didn't even think it was possible to bring so many stars out in a photo like this.
