Details:
Yesterday we had snowfall and heavy clouds during the day. As we were about to start the northern lights snowshoe walk half of the sky had cleared, and when we got to the viewpoint it was almost a completely clear sky. We waited for a long time for the aurora to appear but no sign of any activity. When we we´re just about to start our walk back we could see something that at first glance just looked like a faint cloud. As it started to move and get stronger we knew for sure that the aurora had started. /Tim
