Mercury rising in the Eastern sky in Sgr. is a little easier today with very clear skies. Venus, Saturn, Mars and Jupiter span the constellations along the ecliptic to the head of Virgo, back feet of Leo. An extra bonus star is Gacrux, Crux low on the southern horizon. Canon T6s, 6.5mm f/3.5 fisheye lens, iso 400, 5s exp. on 2016/01/23 UT 1247 from the Davis Mountains State Park, Skyline Drive, Fort Davis, TX.
