Details:
The Sun was about to set when these photos were taken around 21:38 UT. They show iridiscent clouds over the 1021-meter high Tijuca Peak, located in the City of Rio de Janeiro. The colored patterns were caused by diffraction of sunlight by small water droplets. A Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX300 camera was used for all shots.
