Details:
While trying to get good shots of Fra Mauro and the Apollo 17 landing site (an hour after sunset), I noticed how quickly the stars were coming out. A quick check of Astroviewer.de showed that the Moon was entering Cetus. With my Nikon Coolpix P600, I zoomed out from 1440 to 115mm and set to F5, 2sec, ISO-800. I reframed the shot a couple of times and soon captured the head of Cetus -- and an overexposed Moon. I "solarized" this image with OpenOffice and added lines with Paint. The image with black sky was shot a moment before with 1/500sec. My azimtuhal mounting wasn't flat. Good agreement with Stellarium required subtracting 20 minutes to the software with respect to time of imaging.
