Details:
The much anticipated solar wind hit hard, fast and long last night. As the afternoon arrived with overcast sky, I still hoped the weather forecast was right about clear sky in the evening. So with that in mind, I decided to head for Andøya island, on the northwest coast of Arctic Norway. And I was not disappointed at all! Even a 240 km drive did't bother me after the show I got. The auroras came in all kind of variations. Slow and fast. Green, blue, purple and red. The catch was 850 pictures, so I have plenty of work in the days ahead, sorting and editing the photos. vesteraling@gmail.com - More photos here - http://pixels.com/profiles/frank-olsen.html
