Details:
This was the scene this morning, Jan 6, off the back deck looking southeast at dawn to the waning crescent Moon above the pairing of Venus and Saturn, and with the grouping above the stars of Scorpius. Antares is just above the trees. It was -20° C on a cool January morning. I shot this from southern Alberta, Canada. Venus and Saturn will be in a very close conjunction on January 8 and 9.
