Details:
During a two-hour period from 9 to 11 pm MST in Alberta, Canada I captured a number of Quadrantid and non-Quad meteors over the 2-hour shoot, but this was the best shower meteor on camera. The best I saw by eye were off camera, of course - a couple of very bright, slow fireballs crossing overhead that were definitely Quads streaking out of the north. Clouds were taking over the sky by 11 pm. So the peak of the shower was still to come. In all, a nice night for winter meteor watching while it lasted. But as with all meteor showers you had to be patient!
