Abisko just keeps on giving at the moment. Both Chad and I took groups out for Lights Over Lapland to different sites. We had good aurora for the whole night (despite the low solar activity) and at about 9:15pm the sky erupted with a great show. At one point we got visited by an evil green Pinocchio! The aurora was both quick and bright tonight so for this shot I dropped the shutter speed down to 1.6 seconds with an aperture of f/2.8 and ISO3200. I finished a blog which shows what the arctic has been like in the past 6 weeks with the strange mild weather (and plenty of Nacreous Clouds) we have been having. http://www.oliverwrightphotography.com/blog/view/adventures-in-the-arctic-2015-part-1
