Details:
We walked out of the theater in Kingman Az just finished watching Star Wars and my husband said " look! What is that?!" It was a bright flickering launching streak moving all across the sky and you could see multiple break offs of whatever this was . Everyone on the parking lot was mesmerized and stunned and didn't catch the first minute which was the most amazing display of all

I am only 15, so dont take my word for it, but I saw on CalSky the other day that an SL-4 rocket body was going to decay on the 22nd of December. I live on the East Coast, so the local time for the decay was predicted for 9:17pm. I think this would be your local time of 7:17pm, which is around the time that you saw the object. Also, the time uncertainty was +/-0.7 hours. Like I said, I am no professional, but I am betting this is what you saw.
