Details:
On the morning of 12/21 UT11:14-43 I was trying to get an extended view of the ion tail in two images of the Comet with Canon T6s, SV80mm f/6, iso 6400. Core/head is stack of 7x120s and continuing on along the tail is second image, a stack of 4x120s which shows a disconnection event and tail out to nearly 6d. The SkyXPro chart shows the full field and line of the ion tail and dust trail. Click on the images for more detail.
